@whiteflag1000 Have you seen my videos? Lindy Hop is definitely an African American dance as it came out of Harlem during the 20s and 30s, but it was danced at The Savoy Ballroom, which was the first unsegregated ballroom in New York. Dean Collins, a white kid from New Jersey, learned the dance there, and took the dance to Los Angeles and taught a lot of LA dancers. His smooth style eventually lead to the creation of West Coast Swing, the state dance of California.

@AbGretsch Hell,l I couldn't dance like that at that age. Those kids must have had bones made of latex!
